Date of Birth: December 31st, 1926 Age: 69 Years Old House and Year: Slytherin Alumnus Wand: Yew and Phoenix Feather, 13 1\2 Inches Bloodline: Half-blood Sexual Orientation/Marital Status: Heterosexual and Single Pet: A Large snake by the name of Nagini Boggart: Himself dead Appearance: Tom Riddle is a shadow of his former self, and is now more monster than man- resembling a snake like creature after the battle at Hogwarts. His skin is white as snow, set against blue eyes that turn red when he's angry or annoyed. His nose also resembles that of a snake- only two slits on his face. He's a very thin man, and always wears dark robes that make him look even more lean and skeletal than he really is. PB: Ralph Fiennes History: Tom grew up in a muggle Orphanage-- never knowing either parent. He was very anti-social, mostly because he thought himself better than the others around him-- but also because he could do strange things and that frightened the other children around him. At a young age, he learned to harbor his strange gifts and used them to his advantage, frightening the other children around him. His life changed completely when Albus Dumbledore came to the Orphanage and revealed the reason behind the strange things Tom could do-- he was a wizard, and he never hesitated to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Tom was sorted into Slytherin, and was an excellent and popular student. This was also the time in his life when he discovered he was a descendent of Salazar Slytherin and could speak Parsletongue, which lead him to the Chamber of Secrets. He released the Basilisk his sixth year, and although it killed a girl no one ever suspected him- and Rubeus Hagrid was blamed instead. As he grew older, he started to take a view point much the same as Salazar Slytherin and became an advocate of Pureblood supremacy. This was the time he started to gain followers and call them "Death Eaters"- and for the most part they were the children of the wealthy pureblood famailies. By his seventh year, he was willing to shed his Fathers name and take the anagram "Lord Voldemort" instead-- he wanted no reminder of his muggle Father. He does, however, take great pride in being a member in the House of Gaunt. When he returned there, he killed his father and his Grandparents. During the 1970's- Tom had completely become 'Lord Voldemort'. He had started working on the Horcrux's, and had the wizarding world living in fear of both he and his death eaters. The only threat to his complete control of the Wizarding World was a prophecy that surfaced in the Fall of 1980- about a boy born to those who trice defied him, who had the power to beat him. One of his spys told him it was the child of Lily and James Potter- and after years of searching for them- he finally found them in October of 1983 threw the help of Peter Pettigrew. It did not go as planned though, he had underestimated the Potters and the Order of Phoenix and he was ambushed and killed. Personality: Tom is evil and manipulative, he will do anything to get what he wants and needs. He uses whatever necessary-- even false kindness-- to accomplish his goals. He is cold, he loves and cares for no one, everyone is expendable and merely a stepping stone to accomplish his ultimate goal. He is either extremely happy, or enraged- there is no middle ground and he will accept nothing less than perfection in everything- whether it be an act of his own or his followers. Strengths and Weaknesses: Tom is a very powerful and intelligent wizard-- only rival to Albus Dumbledore. He's a quick thinker and excellent with a wand as well as mind magic. He does however have an extreme fear of death, and is unable to love. Friends and Enemies: Tom has no "true" friends, but even in the Death Eaters he has an inner circle that consists of the Malfoys, The Lestrange's and Severus Snape-- who are his most trusted. He hates Muggle, Muggleborns The Potters, and Albus Dumbledore along with the Order of Phoenix-- anyone who gets in the way of his ultimate goal is an enemy. Likes\Dislikes: His one true love is power. He does take inflicting pain and killing as something enjoyable as well. He dislikes thoughts of dying, Muggles, Mudbloods, The Potters and Dumbledore.
